Wisconsin Banking Complaints

The Banking Division investigates complaints relating to alleged violations of state statutes. Reporting problems promptly to the Division provides a better chance of resolving them. Prior to submitting a complaint, try to resolve the issue directly with the financial institution. If there is no resolve, check to make sure that your financial institution is a state charted bank, a state chartered savings bank or a savings association.

If your complaint is in regard to a national bank or federal savings institution, you'll need to file your complaint at Help With My Bank website.
